Director of Planned Giving

Paul PetrequinAs the director of planned giving, Paul is a senior leader of the development team responsible for supporting the Vice President of Development to carry out strategies for establishing and stewarding planned giving prospects and donors. Paul serves as an SVCF resource for complex charitable planning options in both planned gifts and current gifts, as well as overseeing and managing planned giving portfolios, including charitable remainder trusts, charitable gift annuities, bequests, and life estates.

Before joining SVCF, he received a B.A. from the University of North Carolina Asheville and J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law with a certificate in international law. Paul has worked for and on behalf of nonprofit organizations for the majority of his career, receiving public interest fellowships to serve with the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center in Florida and the American Civil Liberties Union in North Carolina. He also spent part of his studies serving with the United Nations at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha, Tanzania.

In his free time, Paul enjoys running, tennis, exploring the local microbrew scene, and being perpetually disappointed by Arsenal football club.
