Director, Donor Engagement
As a Director of Donor Engagement, Diane oversees the Black Label Program and actively partners with a portfolio of institutional clients and individuals through their donor advised funds, supporting organizations and private foundations. She helps them achieve their philanthropic goals while making the most impact in our community and beyond.
Diane began her professional career in the financial services industry and held a variety of positions. She began with a focus on operational compliance and building strong member relations before her transition to the nonprofit sector, which is when she started with SVCF in 2012. In her previous roles with the foundation, Diane managed SVCF's online donor system and nonprofit investment services, executed exclusive events to engage donors and implemented a new approach to world-class service. She served as a Philanthropy Advisor and co-led the Donor Circle for Safety Net: Housing prior to her current role as Director.
Diane received a B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and holds a certificate in bureaucracy and organizations, as well as a certificate in civic leadership. Throughout her academic and professional career, she maintained her commitment to the community through advocacy for the justices of all people. She also brings over two decades of experience working and providing support to the San Jose community.
