Senior Associate, Development
As a Senior Development Associate, Brian works with prospective donors, corporate partners and nonprofits to find the best alignment between their philanthropic endeavors and SVCF’s unique set of service offerings.
Brian joined SVCF in February 2018, having previously advised donors and foundations on a wide range of social issues including early childhood development, voting rights and environmental conservation. Prior to his role in consulting, Brian served as an Associate Project Manager for Seneca Family of Agencies, California’s statewide leader in child welfare programs at the intersection of mental health, education and juvenile justice.
Brian graduated cum laude from Princeton University and holds a B.A. in Sociology. He is passionate about catalytic philanthropy and food justice: ensuring that communities have access to fresh, nutritious and affordable food. Brian wrote his undergraduate thesis on food trade globalization and interned with Food First, the Institute for Food and Development Policy in Oakland, CA.
In his spare time, Brian can be found trying out new recipes, enjoying long walks and driving up and down the California coast. Brian grew up in Montclair, NJ.
