A Texas road trip represents quality time spent with clients in 2015

Maeve MiccioSVCF leads many initiatives to improve lives in our local community, but we also have the great fortune of working with corporations and donors across the U.S. and around the world.

Thanks to a recent trip to Dallas and Austin, my colleagues and I had the chance to meet with clients including Dell, Sabre and National Instruments, as well as with a number of colleagues in the field of CSR. While the nighttime road trip from Dallas to Austin left us feeling a bit sleepy, the time we spent with clients inspired and energized us to continue our work together to expand programs, grow employee engagement and increase positive impact. This visit to Texas was representative of the many valuable trips we’ve taken in 2015 to gather insight and feedback – it was great “quality time” to connect with clients.

In the past 12 months we’ve partnered with our clients on pressing social issues such as the Ebola crisis, increasing access to education, addressing the regional drought, combating human trafficking, and many other important, diverse and timely topics. We’ve also been operationalizing your great suggestions about how we can better serve you and your grantees. Once again, it has been a year where we’ve made a difference together.

Thank you all for your partnership. Along with my SVCF colleagues, I wish you a new year filled with peace, prosperity and continued philanthropy.
