Silicon Valley Community Foundation and Northern California Grantmakers are excited to announce the theme of the 2016 Corporate Philanthropy Institute (CPI) – Be Courageous. This full-day conference is designed to engage CSR practitioners and social entrepreneurs from various industries in thought-provoking, inspiring and action-focused discussion.
Now more than ever, companies are taking courageous steps to positively impact communities around the world, addressing complicated and controversial issues ranging from human trafficking to climate change. Our ever-evolving world also requires companies to engage with NGO partners, employees and civil society in new ways – through philanthropy and other business integration efforts. This conference will explore how companies and corporate responsibility professionals are demonstrating courage through their work, where this dynamic field is headed and the necessary skills for practitioners to thrive.
The CPI conference will be followed by an awards ceremony during which we will honor companies and individuals for their important work in corporate responsibility.
Please mark your calendars for Dec. 1, 2016, at the Sofitel San Francisco Bay Hotel in Redwood City!
