• Donor Volunteer Event - Family Giving Tree - December 2007
  On Saturday, Dec.15, donors and community foundation staff gathered at The Family Giving Tree’s gift warehouse to sort and wrap thousands of donated toys and help fulfill the holiday wishes of children who would otherwise be without gifts. The wrapped gifts were distributed to families throughout the Bay Area through The Family Giving Tree and in partnership with more than 250 local social service agencies.
• Donor Volunteer Event - Second Harvest Food Bank - December 2007
  On Saturday, Dec. 8, donors and community foundation staff gathered at Second Harvest Food Bank’s distribution center to inspect and categorize food products, label food packages and repackage food items donated by individuals and food companies. Throughout the holiday season, the food packages were distributed by Second Harvest staff to needy families across the region.
