FIELD OF INTEREST FUND

A field of interest fund with Silicon Valley Community Foundation allows you to invest in the causes or the community you care most about.

Inherently flexible, this type of fund allows you to identify and support a broad charitable purpose or category of interest, such as the arts, education or human services, or a particular geographic area in San Mateo or Santa Clara counties.

With a field of interest fund, you can rely on the community foundation to identify organizations capable of making the greatest impact in the specific issue area or region of particular importance to you. As your fund continues to make a positive impact, we’ll keep you fully informed of the results.

A field of interest fund with Silicon Valley Community Foundation may be opened with contributions of $10,000 or more. Gifts of any size may also be made to support existing field of interest funds with the foundation. A permanent endowed named fund with a designated area of interest may be created with a gift of $50,000.
